Ligtol was an Amsterdam based company trading in fuel oil in the fifties. The company was founded by my father combining the family name Ligthart with oil into Ligtol. The discovery of natural gas in Groningen in 1959 led to the disruption of the oil business. I reinstate the company in 2008.
Harlem oil is an ancient Dutch remedy against many illnesses. The word haarlemmerolie is now used in Dutch to indicate a fix for all problems. Today Ligtol is the Harlem oil “haarlemmerolie” for organisations, avoiding disruption for your business with interim management in innovation and leadership.
